Lewis Hamilton & George Russell vs. 1000 Nova Drones With Mercedes AMG x IWC
In anticipation of the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Mercedes AMG & IWC hosted a one-of-a-kind event with famed drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. They raced the track at Speed Vegas putting on a spectacular show with 1000 Nova drones.
Designed by TwoFiftyK in collaboration with the Nova Sky Stories Design Team, the fastest drivers on earth sped under wildly innovative drone tunnels and other amazing formations. The drones hovered a few feet above the track in a ground breaking moment in drone history. Produced by Drone Stories, the spectacle left viewers in awe and created an unforgettable moment for IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS.
The night featured a spectacular multi-part show punctuated with the drone display of tunnels, watches, and vehicles in the night sky. Hamilton and Russell maneuvered their Mercedes-AMG GT Coupés with precision through hairpin turns below the beautiful drone Sky Story.
