Skiing the Skies of Aspen
kies over Aspen lit up as drones told the story of a ski town that became a race town. Aspen Skiing Company partnered with Nova Sky Stories to celebrate the 2024 Audi FIS Alpine World Cup with a narrative that honored the town’s heritage and its champions.
The show traced Aspen’s path from early ski racing to the global stage. Lift 1A, Roch Run, and the town’s race pioneers appeared in the sky through shifting formations. Icons like Bill Johnson, Ingemar Stenmark, and Mikaela Shiffrin rose in luminous sequence.
The night closed with a tribute to Aspen’s community and its legacy in the sport, told through light and motion above the mountains that shaped it.
