Uluru Sky Story

Central Australian Desert, Australia

Uluru Becomes a Top Tourist Destination with Nightly Sky Story

Tourists from around the world are traveling to Uluru to experience Wintjiri Wiru, an Indigenous storytelling program that brings the ancient Anangu Mala story to life.

Wintjiri Wiru transforms the Central Australian Desert into a vivid cultural experience. Meaning beautiful view out to the horizon in Pitjantjatjara, the show lifts the Mala story into the sky through choreographed drones, lasers, projections, and sound enriched by Indigenous narration and Inma songs.

The project is a partnership between RAMUS, the Anangu people, and Voyages Indigenous Tourism.
